Earlier this month, the director of a Texas Planned Parenthood “outlet” resigned after watching an ultrasound of an abortion.  Apparently, those images were enough to convince Abby Johnson that this procedure wasn’t simply the removal of tissue the way one might have an appendectomy, but was the destruction of human life.  Ms. Johnson says that her “conversion” from pro-abortion to pro-life was spiritual in nature: “I feel so pure in heart.  I don’t have this guilt.  I don’t have this burden on me any more.  That’s how I know this conversion was a spiritual conversion.”

Abortion is a great evil, a hidden holocaust that plagues this country.  The victims number in the millions and that is to say nothing of the mothers who have been counseled to violate their consciences and suffer the mental anguish from the guilt that frequently follows hard on the heels of the procedure.  May God touch the hearts of many more Abby Johnsons and bring this scourge to an end.
